FAQ: 2017 City Shapers Cohort

The Lupton Center at FCS is gathering 25 influential leaders from across Metro Atlanta who have a calling to impact material poverty in our city.

Through a combination of online learning, site visits, and networking, the 2017 City Shapers cohort will equip leaders to have a healthier and longer lasting impact on material poverty.

What is required to join the Cohort?

All City Shapers Cohort participants agree to:

  1. Go through Seeking Shalom, a 6-part online series about reimagining charity
  2. Attend all three Site Visits
  3. Be prepared to network, learn, and leave better prepared to seek the shalom of Atlanta

How much does it cost?

Just your time and participation. The Lupton Center is facilitating this experience believing that investing in you is an investment in this city.

How do I sign up?

Registration is by invitation only. Participants must RSVP to Shawn Duncan, Director of the Lupton Center, by January 25th.

How does the online series work?

Once you RSVP, you will be sent a link to access the online platform. A short demo will take place at the first Site Visit to get everyone ready to start. It takes less than an hour per week to go through the material. It can be done in one or multiple sittings. There is an app for the curriculum so you can learn on the go.

Who else will be in the Cohort?

Other influential leaders across metro Atlanta from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
