The Leaders Lab equips change makers to make change.
The existing paradigm for responding to material poverty isn't working. The Lupton Center is searching for a unique set of innovative leaders who are willing to disrupt old patterns and create new possibilities.
The Leaders Lab is an in-depth online training uniquely designed for leaders who are working to transform the charity paradigm in their church or organization. Participants will diagnose the health of an existing program, cast vision for more effective approach, and create a roadmap for leading change in their church or organization.
The Leaders Lab is a peer learning community with access to personalized coaching from The Lupton Center, online video content from over 2 dozen dynamic thought leaders, and the tools needed for navigating key decisions and strategies.
Registration closes April 2nd or when all 10 spots are filled. $749 per leader.
What is the Time Commitment?
Leaders need to be prepared to spend 3-5 hours a week doing a variety of learning exercises and leadership experiments in their ministry context. The Lab is based on an action-reflection model of learning. The work that you do drives what you learn.
What Are the Requirements to Apply?
One, leaders must come prepared to do the work required in the Lab - watch videos, read articles, engage online discussion boards, conference calls, experiments, etc.
Two, leaders must come to the Lab with one - and only one - specific project, program, or ministry in mind that they want to diagnose change. The Lab is not theoretical or conceptual learning. The Leaders Lab is focused on doing real work on a real project.
Finally, participants should be fluent in the frameworks and principles found in The Lupton Center's curriculum Seeking Shalom. If you are not familiar with the content (or would like a refresher), it is built into the "Pre-Course" section of the Lab (no additional cost). If you have not done Seeking Shalom yet, it must be completed before the Lab begins on April 9th.
What Happens During the Leaders Lab?
There are three modules that last four weeks each. The first module is called NOW, where we will focus on diagnosing the current health and effectiveness of the project the leader brings to the Lab. The second is called VISION, where we will work on casting a vision for a new approach. The final module is called CHANGE, where we will develop the strategies for leading change - getting from the NOW to the VISION - in each leaders church or organization.
Each week will offer a specific set of learning exercises and leadership experiments. Some will be done online, some via conference call, and other on your own in your context.
You can see the course outline HERE.

Are There Payment Plans Available?
